Nola proves he’s a true Ace in Phillies Opening Day win over Atlanta

The Philadelphia Phillies welcomed fans back for the first time since 2019. The team didn’t disappoint the 8,800 in attendance, as they won in the 10th inning, thanks to a Jean Segura single over Austin Riley’s head that sent home Bryce Harper from third for the winning run.

Aaron Nola showed why he’s the ace of this rotation, as he threw 6.2 innings, striking out six, his only runs being surrendered to 34-year old Pablo Sandoval, who sent a 2-run shot into the right field seats to tie it at that point in the game.
