The Philadelphia Eagles have new life after a shocking win over the New Orleans Saints last week. Jalen Hurts will once again lead Philly into battle as the take on the dangerous Arizona Cardinals. Another win could put the Birds right back in the thick of things in the NFC East. A lost could mean disaster.
What Needs To Be Fixed?
If there is any knock on last week’s victory, it’s the Eagles ball security. An ill timed fumble made the game much closer than it should have been. Turning the ball over against the likes of Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins could be catastrophic. Philly needs to protect the ball at all cost and limit any chance for Arizona to have extra possessions.
What We Can Expect.
We can expect a lot more of what we saw last Sunday. Hurts will be on the move constantly to help take pressure off a suspect offensive line. Look for Miles Sanders to be utilized again coming off a 100 plus yard performance against New Orleans. Most importantly look for the pass rush to be active. Philly is banged up in the secondary and will need to attack the quarterback before getting beaten down field.
The Eagles are going to need to score early and often to have a shot. Look for a back and forth game where the team who has it last comes out on top. The Birds have enough on offense to come out on top if it becomes a shootout.
Final Score: Eagles 28 Cardinals 24
