My first piece for the Last Out Media was a list of a few of my favorite cheesesteak spots, so I decided that my 2nd article would give everyone my 5 favorite burger spots. My hope is that you will find a new favorite burger from this list, or at leas one you’d like to try.
5–Bottle Bar East 1308 Frankford Ave–Very tasty burgers, they have really good options in addition to a fantastic burger and is also a take out bottle shop.
4–Spot Gourmet Burgers–2821 Girard Ave…very good burgers with lots of great choices, if you do your research, you will see that alot of people agree with me that these are some of the best burgers in the city
3–Fountain Porter–1601 S 10th St–People in the know of the Philly burger game know about this delicious burger. It’s hard to believe some people’s “best burger” lists do not include this delicious and very tasty bar burger and it’s 5.00 price. It might be the best burger value in the whole city.
2–Billy Murphy’s Irish Saloon 3333 Conrad St East Falls–their turf burger has won best burger awards, I like this neighborhood bar in East Falls because they have delicious food combined with great food specials, such as Tuesday burger night
1–Lucky’s Last Chance 4421 Main St Manayunk and 848 S 2nd st–A multiple-time winner of the Philadelphia Burger Brawl, I fell in love with their burgers 6 or 7 years ago and it’s because of their ability to consistently have delicious burgers, even when they do crazy creations. Some of their creations such as their Pickle Monster Burger, which still won a Burger Brawl award, their Mac Attack burger is topped with mc and cheese, might be their best seller, according to their menu, but my favorite burger is PB and Bacon cheeseburger, yes PB stands for peanut butter are delicious and always manage to hit the spot.
Let’s hear about your favorite burgers, simply write it in the comments section, my articles on the Last Out Media website are so that we can all learn about great places to get delicious foods, based upon the topic of the articles that I write, so leave a comment about your favorite burger spot.
