First Quarter

The Sixer started the game trading buckets with the Spurs. Neither team seemed like they wanted to pull away. Eventually Philly used a pair of 3ā€™s from Josh Richardson and some timely assists from Ben Simmons, to give themselves a cushion as the quarter came to a close. Sixers led after 1 by a score of 35-33.

Second Quarter

The Sixers started the quarter by clamping down on defense. NBA steals leader Simmons stepped in front of a lazy pass and took it the other way for an easy dunk. The two teams traded buckets in the latter half of the quarter, but the Sixers were able to come out on top 64-62. Tobias Harris led the Sixers with 13 points.

Third Quarter

Philadelphia put on a defensive master class in the 3rd quarter. They limited San Antonio to just 25 points in the period while jumping out and leading by as many as 12. Embiid did most of the heavy lifting gathering 6 of his 9 rebounds in the 12 minute stretch. Furkan Korkmaz hit multiple 3ā€™s off the bench and the Sixers led by 12 going in to the final quarter 99-87.

Fourth Quarter

Philly tried their best to give this one away as their double digit lead evaporated after giving up another 40 plus point quarter. However, Shake Milton was in full redemption mode. After putting a goose egg against Indiana, Milton score the final 3 of his 16 points with 6 seconds left to ice a much needed win for the Sixers.
